KENDALL CASSELLA's love for songwriting started when she picked up a ukulele at age 14. Now a high school senior, she has developed her own unique folk style. Kendall writes from the heart, blending words and music to tell stories with deep meaning and impact. She enjoys performing with her band East of Every or performing solo at various venues in the greater Lansing Area. She has played at venues such as Pumpstock, the Ark, the Old Town General Store, the Avenue, Mighty Uke Day, Mac's Bar, local farmer's markets and the Coffee Barrel. As her life experiences continuously build frameworks for songs, her motto is a simple one: “Stuff happens and I write songs about it.” She heads to Nashville this fall to begin her studies at Belmont University in their renowned songwriting program.
